Leave a comment below if you agree with the protagonist about missing her first Mother's Day, or if you have a smidge of sympathy for her poor husband. From my perspective, he had to help his parents, and it happened to be on Mother's Day. Isn't it a made up holiday anyway?

Entitled in-laws hijack adult son for Mother's Day go help in the yard despite it being his wife's first Mother's Day, she refuses to acknowledge Father's Day in retaliation: "I'm just matching your energy"
Hey there ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Mother's day: the Hallmark card of all holidays. Isn't it funny the colossal fuss we make for mother's day, and everyone seems to completely forget about father's day? I don't know about you, but I know how important mother's day is to my mom. She likes her very specific things like clockwork: blueberry pancakes in bed, family time all day, watching Shrek in the evening together. And of course copious amounts of gifts and cards, what any mother deserves. And my father? I think he makes his own breakfast and everyone ignores him all day while he gardens, it's a win win for everyone.
It just goes to show that women really are from Venus and men are from mars. I'm sure there are a fair share of people who don't necessarily confine themselves to these stereotypes. But in the story below, the protagonist is a woman who throws herself a pity party on Mother's Day. Read the full story below.
