Entitled neighbors seem to be a growing problem lately. We don't know what it is that gives people the confidence, the audacity, to do some of the things that they do. And neighbors starting drama with other neighbors, that's bad enough. But neighbors starting drama with their neighbor's cats, that crosses a line. The cats have nothing to do with it - ever. The cats are never at fault. It's the humans. When entitled people threaten to steal their neighbor's cat, it's not the cat's fault for being cute. When entitled neighbors demand to get their neighbor's cat because their kids need a cat "more", not the cat's fault either. And when a person demands that their neighbor take their cat to therapy… maybe they should be the ones going there.

This situation though… this is a whole different level of entitlement. We don't think we have seen anything like this yet. There is no "reasonable reason" to ask what this neighbor did, not by any stretch of the imagination. Not even close.

Sigh, we don't know how people get to this point. Maybe it's just us, but we generally don't like… confrontations. We stand our ground when we have to, but we avoid conflict when possible. We could never see ourselves seeking out conflict when we are clearly and ridiculously in the wrong.
