Rescue stories are some of the most varied and in some cases even never ending stories. But what is important is that they do eventually have a happy ending. Which is what the cute catto who stars in this story finally got after so much madness and mayhem in his life, and even in his rescue story. And these kinds of stories, as much as they often have happy endings, are a reminder to everyone and anyone who wants to bring home a pawdorable pet and give them the best life possible.

Because a big part of that promise you are making to them, is that they will never see the inside of a shelter again, they will never know loneliness again, and they will never be uncared-for in their furever home. It is a promise that we cannot afford to keep, because by breaking it, we are not only putting the poor creature back into all the bad we took them out of, but we are also breaking their trust in hoomans.

    The SPCA took care of him for a while and then tried adopting him out but it didn't work. The family that adopted him didn't want to deal with his medical needs and brought him back to SPCA just a few days later. At that point he was

  • Erugh, why do people do this? It is not like you are not warned about the needs of the cat you are about to adopt. Why take the risk that you would not be able to handle it and have to return the cat. There is nothing more miserable for any critter than to be taken to a shelter, released from the shelter and almost immediately returned.

  • Well, finally we have it. Proof that cats know a heck of a lot more about what is going on than we would have ever given them credit for in the past. And at that, what a terrifying thing to be aware off, yet at the same time how wonderful that this sweet catto could appreciate the opportunity he was given to start life anew. This story is such an emotional rollercoaster.
