Ah, Chuck E Cheese, just saying the name in your head conjures up the screams of elated children running around the place being absolute brats, fueled only by sugary drinks and processed food. Heck, to think of it that way, it genuinely sounds like an enhanced technique of the CIA kind, perhaps used to get information out of spies pretending to be parents.

Wow, that would be devious. Well, whatever your memory of this wild place is, it is certain to be filled with the smell of stale pizza, the stickiness of the floors and the incomprehensible songs that the animatronic band would perform. Wow, the more we write about this place, the more it sounds like something out of Squid Games. Regardless, we got our hands on a treasure trove of vintage 80s photos of the magical place where parents' souls came to be stomped on for you to enjoy looking back on and wonder how the heck we used to love this place as children.

  • In the history books that will be written about our time, there is a good chance that they will pinpoint the invention of Chuck E Cheese as the beginning of the end of the ‘dinner and a show’ concept. For the adults who suffered it back then sure hated being bombarded by the painful melodies, and as kids, well, we were probably thinking about something else.

  • It is rather amusing that for a place that was at least to some degree based around food, the attractions they had on offer were far more attractive and interesting. Much like this helicopter, which would have helped kids pass the time and avoid eating overly processed pizza.
