Hey there ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Fighting with in-laws may feel like an Olympic sport. I've always had great relationships with my boyfriend's parents. They're really a part of your family now, and it behooves you to actually be nice and respectful to them. If your mil or FIL is giving you issues, then there's probably a bigger problem at hand.

If your husband or wife doesn't see any issue in their parents issues, then that's another problem. Sure, it's their parents, but there should be some level of acknowledgement about them. Whether they're good people, or toxic, or entitled, they should have a discerning eye.

This poor woman. She's so young to be in such a toxic marriage. I think marrying young always freaked me out, because men mature and develop slower than women. She's doing everything for him, and because she always has, he has no appreciation or respect for her. If he went through a breakup or two, he would be able to respect her.
