While I'm servicing a kiosk near customer service at a grocery store, a lady comes in with a full cart to return and says they "were visiting Yellowstone and bought too much". Literally unopened expensive humus, cheeses, olives, breads, deli meat, mayo, ketchup, mustards, etc. The store gave them over $200 back and the clerk that I

know said "entitled tourists" and it happens all the time. All that stuff they had to put stickers on it that said "do not sell" because they don't know if it was kept at proper temperatures and it gets tossed. Unbelievable.

glopthrowawayacc... It's annoying. People do the same at the grocery store, picking up meat and leaving it on a shelf, or taking a bite of food and sitting it down. Grocery stores and restaurants waste a ton of food in general. Retail wastes a ton of product for various reasons. I knew someone who worked at a store that was closing,

nothing was being returned to the main warehouse, everything was either sold or tossed. They checked employees bags every night to be sure they weren't stealing and they had to destroy everything they threw out so it couldn't be worn.
