This person works at a grocery store near a tourist destination, which means that a huge percentage of their customer base must be tourists. They're all heading out to Yellowstone National Park, known for its hot springs, roaming buffalo herds, and stunning mountain views. That's a great place to bring your own snacks while you wander the park… but trying to return the food you didn't eat to the grocery store is pretty baffling. Why not just take it with you?
