Welcome back people of the internet. When I was younger, I loved to travel. I got a rush from buying plane tickets last minute, from standing in lines, from not knowing my plans week to week, and even loved the soft, pressurized ambience inside a plane while we're flying through the sky. When you think about it, planes are really incredible. I had a whole playlist made just for the lulls of sleep and staring at clouds out the window of planes. There's a certain heaviness and environmental experience with flying, like you really feel suspended. The playlist is called Spacegirl Daydream for anyone wondering.

Now that I'm older, I really detest flying and traveling. It's a pain in the neck, it's hours of lines, waiting, buses, driving, and none of it includes the actual flight. I no longer get a thrill from being suspended in the air, and would rather be in bed than anything else. The entire system around traveling is predicated on headaches and inconvenience.
