Memes as Far as the Eye Can See

All those mathematicians and scientists should club together and do something useful for once and figure out how long the line of every single meme ever created would be, and how far it would reach into space. There might be practical considerations that cause a hitch, like finding every meme and deciding what dimensions they should be, but surely they have the technology to make a ballpark guess.

If they did actually decide that this was something worth doing, we could have a proper numerical representation of just how vital internet humor has been to the world of the 21^st century. There is a lot of detritus online, much of it of the funny picture kind, and we are glad of that. It enables us to keep on bringing you a selection of it at regular intervals, to satisfy that craving that appeared after one day of scrolling and then never left.
