In the story below, the protagonist is a married man whose wife has been spending an awful lot of time with her close male friend. Of course, in a relationship both people need to maintain their healthy friendships. At the same time, there needs to be boundaries on obvious situations that would make anyone uncomfortable. Male and female friendships are obviously fine, but they will never exist in the same nature as female-female friendships, or male-male friendships.
