How would you react if you planned a trip away with your own family and your parents wanted to tag along? Perfect. Now add a crazy sister into the mix. The type of person who would marry a grudge if it were legal, that's how attached to them they are. 

Suddenly, she's up in arms, claiming that she had the exact trip planned for her and their ur parents, just two months later…Now, everything is completely ruined!

How do you even begin to deal with someone who refuses to acknowledge facts laid out in front of her, choosing instead to spiral into a melodramatic alternate reality? It's exhausting.

Sure, sibling rivalry over parents' attention is nothing new. But at 35+ years old, we'd hope they'd moved past the tug-of-war phase. Apparently not. Instead of adjusting, she cancels her trip to Florida, announces that their parents can't possibly afford both, and insists the whole thing is now off—even after seeing proof that finances aren't the issue…
