Abandoned dumpster puppy gets a true Cinderella story after couple finds him, adopts him, and helps him live his happily ever after: 'He is as sweet as can be'

We only throw one thing, and one thing only, in the dumpster - trash. Lots of things count as "trash", like old take-out containers, your ex-boyfriend, and other assorted packaging. You know what doesn't count as trash, animal fam? Puppies. Or any living thing (except your ex). We shouldn't be finding any doggos or puppies in dumpsters in 2025, and yet, apparently, we are. This leads us to Benson, the adorable abandoned dumpster puppy in the post below.

A couple found him all alone and covered in trash. He immediately took to them and adapted quickly to their lifestyle. Now, instead of eating leftovers, he has three square meals a day. Instead of hiding all alone, he has puppy playmates at the office. He's living his happily ever after, and if that doesn't pawsitively bring a smile to your faces, then we don't know what will.     He is as sweet as can be. Immediately has been the nicest and most well-behaved dogs. After getting all his shots, our vet gave the go ahead for me to bring him to work and he gets along with the other dogs there as if he knew them his whole life!

We hope you never spare a second thought about the people who dumped you, you have your whole life ahead of you - and it's looking pawsitively great!

    Really enjoys his crate, but has started to branch out and hang out with us in our living room. If I could think of a best possible scenario for this adoption, our reality has surpassed it, feeling very lucky!

    Has not peed in the house ONCE! Jumped up to look at the kitchen counter once, got told no and has never done it again. Is afraid to eat off a plate. Seems to understand English!

  • A true Cinderella story! Except instead of a glass slipper, it's a puppy (slightly more comfortable and useful than a glass slipper, if you ask us). But, this pupper went from trash to treasure as soon as he was seen by the right eyes.

As a friend use to say "rescue is my favorite breed", there is something magical about the bond of an abandoned pup. and the person who helps them feel loved and cherished, congrats! Also, unless you DNA test him, you can't know what mix he is, he could very well be a goldendoodle.

    lexus2016 • 1h ago The temperment definitely screams labradoodle. Between the one golden doodle and two labradoodles I've had, the labradoodles have a more well "behaved" and self assured, natural calm that just doesn't exist in any goldendood I've ever met.
