Grimaldehyde If she complains again, tell her to call the police, and have THEM tell her there's nothing wrong with what your kids are doing.

Otherwise-Bluejay548 I'd lose it if I had a neighbor like that. Next she'll want you to silence the birds too.

Traveler_Protocol1 I agree with you unless your kids are screaming. One time my neighbors kids/grandkids were literally screaming at the top of their lungs and I got so sick of it, I screamed as loud as I could when there was a short lull in the noise. I love to hear kids play, and some screaming happens, but nonstop screaming is awful.

Asleep-Beautiful-366 I live in an "old people" neighborhood. Over the last couple of years a few families have moved in with kids. Admittedly the lots are big so we aren't right on top of each other, but when I hear kids laughing and playing through the trees it makes me feel like the neighborhood is alive and I smile.

NerdyAdventurousLife Happy kids playing in a front yard is a sign of a happy home and a safe neighborhood. Two houses down from me, my neighbor has a backyard trampoline. We hear kids playing out there all the time. And it's fine, because the kids are having outside fun. That's what kids are supposed to do.

CoolElk1 I bet she also complains that kids don't play outside anymore and are stuck to screens all day long. That when she was a kid she rode her bike from dawn to dusk and new generations are so entitled.

Fuzzy_Redwood Weird how now at 8am you use the leaf blower everyday to clean up the outdoor space for the kids to play at 10am

MaggieJaneRiot When my day is interrupted by children. outside playing, I thank God that they are. outside playing and not inside their basements with a screen in front of them! You're doing good, Mom!
