Entitled neighbor goes full-Karen mode when she hears children playing outside her house at 10a.m., she confronts the mother, who claims she is being ridiculous: 'What is next, banning laughter?'

There's nothing like the sound of birds chirping in the morning, accompanied by the echo of laughter of the children passing by. The distinct smell of coffee in the hot pot, whilst waiting for the bread to pop out of the toaster, and assemble the perfect P&J…This is the case for most people at least…However, there seem to be certain individuals who believe that 10 a.m. is when the sun starts to rise and the world is still fast asleep, but unless they find themselves at the Arctic Circle, they are living in a state of delusion.

So it is natural for any parent to get defensive when the Karen from next door storms on over, aggressively complaining about all the noise the kids are making whilst playing outside. Well, it's time to get a watch lady, or a massage, or even a new rental in the middle of nowhere! Because this mother has every right to stand up to this unreasonable request!

    Traveler_Protocol1 I agree with you unless your kids are screaming. One time my neighbors kids/grandkids were literally screaming at the top of their lungs and I got so sick of it, I screamed as loud as I could when there was a short lull in the noise. I love to hear kids play, and some screaming happens, but nonstop screaming is awful.

    Asleep-Beautiful-366 I live in an "old people" neighborhood. Over the last couple of years a few families have moved in with kids. Admittedly the lots are big so we aren't right on top of each other, but when I hear kids laughing and playing through the trees it makes me feel like the neighborhood is alive and I smile.
