‘The manager stood [there] in absolute disbelief.’: Employees share the craziest ways they have seen someone quit their job

Employees are flocking to Reddit to share their stories of witnessing now-ex-coworkers quit. But not just quitting with the societally acceptable two-weeks notice. We're talking disgruntle employees quitting in the craziest ways. These go even beyond throwing a tantrum or running out crying. These are people who were way past their last straw at work and felt so disrespected that they decided to completely implode that bridge and never look back. Sometimes your work experience is so soured that you don't even want to work in that industry anymore, so you quit with a show. 

 

Are these experience encouraging? Upsetting? Epic? Inspiring? Petty? Whichever way you think, you have to admit, they are extremely entertaining.

  • Perhaps not the way you would leave a job, but maybe a way you wish you could've left a job. Unfortunately, you might be too people pleaser or trying to still make it in that industry, just with a different employer. So you have to swallow your pride and just move on. So go ahead and live vicariously through these epic quitters!
