"He flew on me, explored a bit my shoulder, my beard and my hair and now is napping on my wrist": Local search for an owner goes unanswered, allowing a lost lovebird to find its forever home with a 'huge luxury cage' and a lifetime of cuddles

You know all too often we shine the light on doggos losing their way in the world here and getting lost, that we forget that there is a pet out there who has the potential to get far more lost and a derpy doggo who is limited to only land. Of course, we are talking about our beautiful bird friends. And this story of this bird who flew just a little too far from home is one of heartbreak and of happiness.

For while his original hooman probably spent days if not weeks looking for their lost love, the bird did at least remain safe, and was raised well enough to know who to trust in the big bad world we live in. and choose a new hooman he did, by flying onto one man's balcony. This led to quite the sweet bonding montage (you will have to imagine the actual montage footage seeing as we did not make a movie out of this) and the decision to make his new-found home, his forever home.

Well, this is quite the sweet and simple introduction. Most rescues or adoptions take a few more terrifying twists and turns before they end up finding their balance. But it seems that this unintended bird father was destined to be a bird father all along. Also for those who might not know (we didn’t) Seneca was a Roman philosopher, which is a very meaning heavy name to bestow upon a bird.

Jheez, can you imagine how hard it must be to find a lost bird. Unlike a dog or cat who are limited by how far they can move through densely populated and built-up land, a bird can just keep flying until it tires, finds a nice man willing feed it and carries on upon its mystical journey. At least this bird is living a pretty good second chapter in life.
