How many favors are too many favors? Well, if you ask the traveling nurse in the story below, she will admit that she has no problem asking her friends for endless favors, and she sees nothing wrong with it. 

Asking your friends if you can stay with them at their house for three months is a huge favor as it is. I could barely handle people staying over for one night, so three months? I must really love that person to agree. But if they were to add more and more favors to this already huge one, like bringing along a partner, or borrowing my car every day–there is nobody I love enough to agree.

But when this traveling nurse piled these favors one on top of the other, her friends, the hosting couple, felt like they had no choice but to agree. Until one day, they simply had had enough…
