Being single in your 30s comes with unique freedoms and frustrations. One one hand, you can make decisions solely for your own happiness and no one elses's. You can travel when you want, take up as much space in your bed as possible, and spend your weekends doing whatever comes to mind. On the other hand, every engagement announcement on Instagram can leave you spiralling about the fact that your life trajectory isn't lining up with the girls you graduated high school with. 

But here's the thing: being single at 30 isn't a curse, it's just a different life path. You're old enough to understand what you want (and don't want!) in a life partner, but you're still young enough to enjoy the ride. Instead of feeling like you need to play catch-up to your married friends by going on as many dates as possible, it can help to treat this stage in your life as something of a reset button. In other words, take it slow and start designing the life and love that you want to experience. So, let this be a sign to finally get rid of Tinder already and instead embrace the freedom of being thirty, flirty, and thriving.
