Family and friends make our world feel complete—until they give us every reason to cut them off. No matter what, money is king in this big ol' capitalist society. The family in this next story expects their pregnant daughter to sacrifice $25k of her $50k house deposit so she can financially contribute to an apartment her sister is interested in. This woman is pregnant and ready to start a life with her partner; Why would she give up her dream to subsidize someone else's? It doesn't make sense.
