‘That’s not a rescue, that's a Navy Seal': Dog rescued from the side of the road surprises new owner by how much he loves to swim, catches her a huge fish for dinner

It's one thing to rescue a struggling stray pup, but it is a whole other thing to welcome a Navy Seal into your life. That's right, a woman rescued a pup that was alone and scared on the side of the road. Presumably abvsed and found starving, she now gives this dog all the love in the world. One day she took him to the lake for a nice day in the sun. To her surprise, the dog loved to swim! Actually, he loved to swim maybe a little too much. The woman does not know how to swim, so when her new pup would be underwater for too long, she would start to get nervous. How could she save him if he were drowning? After a particularly long time under the water, he finally pops back up above the surface. The woman was extremely relieved, but something else was surprising her. Her pup had caught a huge fish and was bringing it to her. Now, this pup is her best fishing companion and she takes him to the lake all the time where he gets to do the thing he loves the most: Swim! (And, he still catches the occasional fish for her to fry up.)

We love a pet parent letting her puppy friend thrive with whatever it is that they love to do. She might not have chosen fishing as her own passion, but she's happy to support her sweet canine companion while he swims and fishes whenever he wants. Because all dogs deserve to live their best life!
