A friend of mine had a neighbor who was best described as a man drenched in entitlement and Axe Body Spray. Whilst renovating their new family home, builders were moving in and out of their front door. So, as expected, it was left open…Their neighbor saw this as a sly opportunity to have his say in their renovations. They had the most beautiful trees in their backyard, not many, but each a good few decades old…He came into their house one day, while they were out, and instructed the builders to cut down their trees with no warning…and his reasoning: A leaf had fallen in his GARDEN… the place where leaves grow!!

The following story inspired me to share that little one, as it also emphasizes the lack of boundaries and excess of entitlement between neighbors…After this man invests in a new air conditioning unit that happens to be arriving at the same time his neighbor is renovating his pool, he decides to install a security camera to ensure there are no problems…but instead of using it to watch his baby (the aircon unit), he uses it to eavesdrop on his neighbors…and let's just say he doesn't quite love what he hears about himself!
