Restaurant chain Cracker Barrel announces new logo, fans express their grave disappointment: 'Waffle House would never do this to me'

Change isn't always easy. Kids flip out when their moms get a haircut because it's unfamiliar. It took me at least a couple of times to remember which subway stop to get off at after I moved apartments. I still call it Twitter despite it being named "X" for years. We have strong habits and preferences, and it can be hard to shake us out of them. We tend to like things the way they were. We get used to them, and we prefer familiarity over uncharted waters. It's just a human nature thing. 

Of course, change can often be necessary. We can all admit that streaming is probably a little bit better than Blockbuster, even though it was hard for us to let that go all those years ago. Sometimes you'll have growing pains with something and then realize later it was the right choice, even if you don't want to fully admit it. This situation, though, is not one of those. This seems to be a change for the worse. They messed with our beloved Cracker Barrel, and we want it back.
