'Beige moms are stunting their kids' development': Sad beige mom gets called out by toddler daughter covering bed with most colorful blankets she owns

One of the many things that has to be accepted sooner or later by those who choose to have kids is that parenthood is never going to be aesthetic for long. It is all a steady downward spiral into accepting the chaos that is children after the meticulous decoration of the nursery and elaborate gender reveal are out of the way. 

Nonetheless, there are some real troopers out there who make it their mission for their offspring to conform to their Pinterest-perfect vision, namely the Sad Beige Moms who have Sad Beige Babies. Never mind the fact that it is proven that children should be exposed to a range of colors to help their development, or that the colors we find in nature are not solely varying shades of griege, but rather a full spectrum of everything the human eye can see. They are so attached to their limited shade range that they want everyone in their vicinity living in it.

  • One self-proclaimed Sag Beige Mom felt like she was seeing the consequences of this when her young daughter began to cover her bed with the most colorful blankets that she had. Questioning whether the toddler was roasting her, the replies to her post were not especially sympathetic to the beige cause. Lack of color isn't the worst thing to do to a child, but it's also not the best idea.
