'I will be reporting this!': Entitled hotel concierge demands that her coworker show up 30-45 minutes early to every shift, coworker refuses and gets their manager involved

Everyone has had a coworker at some point in their professional careers who somehow thinks they can order you around despite the fact that you are equals. Perhaps that coworker started working at the company before you and has decided for themselves that they are slightly senior as a result. Sometimes, people think they're in charge of you just because they're older, even if you're the one who actually possesses more experience and skills.

Normally, the best course of action in these scenarios is to ignore the difficult coworker as much as you can. However, every so often, they made an offhand remark or required something of you that is so outside of their own jurisdiction that you have no choice but to stand up for yourself. When this happens, try to rehearse your speech and do your best to keep your comments measured and specific. You still have to work with this person, so it's probably best to maintain as much of a sense of professionalism as possible. Another option is to pull your supervisor aside and kindly explain the situation. If you're comfortable doing so, then you can essentially leave it to your manager to do the difficult part.
