Car salesman going off on me for saying I need more than 10 minutes to decide on buying a $40,000 car.

OK, no problem. We can do everything for you once you are ready if you're not ready nothing will work for you. No matter what even if I give you the car for free it's not gonna work for you. I'll gladly take the car for free. Kinda sensing some hostility though which I don't appreciate. Read 2:34 PM

There is no hostility Today 4:46 PM the only point which is forgotten is that when you came to our store you have been so appreciative that I helped you and did not drop you on the lot like the other 3 places that you have been to, so now after all the time that I spent with you, now you are accusing me of being hostile towards you?! If I am hostile towards you maybe I should have not helped like that other places!!??

Looked at the car for 10 minutes yesterday, told him I have to think about it so he calls me less than 24 hours later asking if I'm ready to

buy. Before these messages (cropped to hide personal info) I told him it seems like they're overcharging me and I will need some more time to think it over.

Starts saying he shouldn't have helped me like other dealers did which isn't true at all. Just told him I didn't like how they were treating me

DepartureNo9981 Yeah. It's brutal working on commission right now. This guy is probably on the brink of eviction or something.

MidnightPulse69 OP And I'm sorry for that and don't want that for anyone but me buying the car at nearly double what I'm paying now isn't gonna be good for me.

Upstairs Lettuce_746 Move on. Their responses speak for itself. You're responding to someone who is going to respond no matter what you say.

MidnightPulse69 OP Yup I blocked him after that and left a bad review

18k_gold Walk away, don't let anyone talk to like this especially a sales person. Then write a review on every site and name him.

Hungry-Space-1829 I've never once regretted walking out of a high pressure sales environment. It's crazy the clarity you get. So many of their sales' tactics are just making you uncomfortable

Several Temporary339 You don't owe him anything for doing his job. Seems like the type of dude that would pressure dates after buying them dinner.
