'You're my dog': Woman unpacks packed lunch husband made for her, including empty pretzel bag, dog food, and 2-day-old Chipotle leftovers

There are many different qualities that make somebody a good partner, and one of those is knowing you can trust them when you need some help with issues both great and small. If you can't rely on the person who may well have pledged to spend the rest of their life with you, who can you rely on? 

Unfortunately, many find themselves in relationships where this level of support simply is not present, and what is even worse is that sometimes, this is passed off as a sense of humor. Even the smallest of gestures can say a lot about how a person feels about somebody, and it is important to pay attention if the attitude towards these doesn't seem quite right. It could lead to bigger issues in the future.

Nonetheless, not everybody thinks that red flags look the same when it comes to the controversial topic of love. One person's cute moment is another's nightmare.

  • This difference in perspective was revealed starkly when one woman shared with social media what her husband made her after she forgot to bring her lunch to work. Including various random, mostly-eaten items as well as a Ziploc bag of dog food included as a joke, she seemed to think that this gesture was a humorous one. 

    However, many viewers of her video responded quite differently, with many claiming that this was a sign that her relationship might not be so great. They were not shy in giving their unfiltered opinion.

  • Elle @gothamcityelle women are socialized to think this is funny and cute and to declaw themselves from any personal standards of how to be treated, especially by men, and the threat of unpacking this is so large bc then they'd have to reevaluate every relationship they've ever had from birth.
