Cats are creatures of a purrfect paradox. They are both the most graceful creatures to walk this planet and also the glitchiest creations nature ever invented. They want to be both inside and outside at the same time. And last, but not least, they want 100% of your attention and also none of it. Some of our feline friends are willing to go to great lengths to get our attention, and then promptly walk away as soon as they have it. You have the classic "knocking things off the shelf", the everyday "I will sit on your laptop until you pet me to stop you from working", and of course, the super-effective "I'm just going to lie on your face because I can" tactic. That one works every time.

Slowly, over the years, we've learned what each of these signs means. Here's a clue: almost all of them mean "I'm hungry!". We're not saying you should feed your cat every time they demand attention, because that would be training them to do that, but cats almost never say no to a little snackie. Just like your cat who meows at you about 30 minutes before dinnertime, these hilarious house cats below are not shy to ask for your attention. And by ask, we mean demand. Loudly.
