We all need to look back every now and again. Often, we're worried about the future and what it will bring for us. We're making plans, we're investing in ourselves, and wondering what things will be like in a couple of years. This is a natural place for the anxious mind to go. If you're unsatisfied with the present, it's easy to drift off into the future. But what about the past? It can be a useful exercise to look back on where you came from. It often offers insight into who you are currently. 

We can do this in myriad ways. Maybe you crack open your old yearbook to take a trip down memory lane. Maybe you call up an old friend so you can get together and reminisce about how things used to be, swapping school stories and trading photos. But those things require a lot. Let's face it, your yearbook is probably in your mother's house, which is probably in a different state. And most of your old friends you probably wouldn't be friends with now.
