There are so many things from the 90s that I'm glad we left behind. I would be happy if I never saw a man with frosted tips ever again in my life. I'm also glad that we stopped being quite so mean to celebrities about their bodies. I mean, have you read Britney Spears's memoir? That's the least of it, but I'm glad that I didn't grow up as her. I'm also glad that low-rise jeans are optional nowadays. I know that the kids are all wearing them, but I won't. So few people on this earth look good in them. 

But there are some things that I wish would return. McDonald's used to be so much more colorful back then. We would spend hours in the play place because it was genuinely a fun place to be. When was the last time you played in a play place? Okay, that might have to do more with growing up than it does with the state of McDonald's, but the point holds. I also miss a time when all of my free time wasn't consumed by the Internet. It was only a place that I could go to on the family computer every now and again to play math games.
