Twitter can be a really fun place sometimes. When big world events happen, award shows, or fun happenings in the media, Twitter is where you want to be. There truly is no other place where you can get minute-by-minute information, takes, jokes, and more. It's the fastest-moving social media out there. You can open the app and immediately know what's going on in the world. For better or worse.

But when it's for the better, it's really fun. You got the feeling of being plugged in to something greater than you and your bubble. You get to feel like you're a part of a big town hall that's talking about things that you're interested in. Of course, this has its downsides. You don't always need to be in the loop. Being out of the loop is pretty underrated sometimes, as long as you have a friend who's in the loop who can inform you of the stuff you need to know about. But we have a human urge to be connected to what's going on around us.

It's a natural impulse to want to know what's happening in the world, and it's healthy to be informed. We would hate to be uninformed. So we reach for Twitter.
