Woman ignores roommate's unsolicited dating advice and gets yelled at for going on a date with a man she wasn't set up with, ends up marrying him and roommate ends up divorced

It's hard to stay true to you when dating. You want to protect your heart, but you keep failing. Break up after break up, you start to distrust the choices your heart makes. You start to wonder if your brain is even involved in the decision process. So, you seek advice. That's only natural! However, there can ups and downs to any advice you get. Just make sure you take everything with a grain of salt! Or, perhaps, don't take that piece of advice at all. 

 

Which is exactly what this woman did. She was not trying to date at the moment, she was concentrating on her career, being in a new city, and other important aspects of her life. However, her married roommate was not having it. She kept force feeding her unsolicited dating advice, even after the woman asked her to stop. And then when she finally decided to go on a date with a guy, the roommate got upset that she didn't take her advice! What was her advice? She should have pretended like she didn't actually like to guy, in order to get him… Sounds childish? Because that is childish.

  • When I heard that her divorce was finalized and has dated and been dumped several times afterwards, I posted my wedding photos on Instagram... where she saw that I married the guy I was suppose to pretend I didn't like.
