Woman and her 3-month-old kitten are displaced when cat-hating in-laws come to visit, husband sides with his parents and banishes the feline: 'He wants us to leave our apartment for them'

A story went viral on Reddit this week about a woman who's in-laws hated cats. While it's already a shock that any human person could resist the adorableness of tickly whiskers, floofy tails, and a mischievous midnight ankle attack, the truly shocking part is how their family weekend turned into a cat-lover's nightmare. 

I understand being apprehensive about staying at a cat person's house for the weekend if you're allergic to cats or if you're afraid of them, but if you're in-laws are kicking you out of your own home because they just don't like kittens, that's on them. Purrhaps these parents should have booked their own accommodation instead of kicking this woman out of her house with her 3-month-old kitten, because this one domestic dispute may leave her wondering who's on her side at the end of the day. 

More likely than not, it's the playfully loyal kitten she's toting alongside her, and not the entitled in-laws invading her home.
