'Get him dog bed!': Fluffy fox wanders out of the wild to investigate new neighbors, but gets sleepily sidetracked by their comfy couch and makes himself at home

There is no stronger force in this world than the undeniably relatable urge to nap. The second strongest force is our doggo's tail wagging against our bedside table while she's waiting for us to get up. But anyway, naps are quite possibly the most magnetic things other than magnets. You feel your eyes pulling down, your head gets heavy, and the worst part is that it doesn't matter where you are. You could be in the most important interview of your life, but when you start nodding off, there's no stopping it. Especially when there is a comfy couch nearby.

We understand why the adorable intruder below decided to stop his adventure for a quick shut-eye. If we slept on dirt and leaves our whole life, and then magically, a soft sofa appeared in front of us, we would also abandon everything to catch a few zzz's. And we're glad he did, because the homeowner who found him napping on his property furniture was able to snap this pawfectly adorable picture, and now we get to share it with you.

Apparently, foxes have a thing for napping in inconvenient places, like this polar fox who escaped the zoo but fell asleep in the middle of the road, making his glorious getaway short-lived. Like we said, naps rule over all, so get a few minutes of shut-eye and whatever happens, happens.

Hot take: we would not be able to resist trying to domesticate him. We know we're not supposed to. We know he's a wild animal. But still, the thought of having a fox as a pet is impawssible to deny. That fluffy tail is calling us for pets, and look how calm he is…. no! Let wild animals live their lives. Do it. If we can resist, so should you.

No, they can't be a member of the family! We know how much you want to take them inside, pet them, feed them, and give them love. Believe us, we get it probably more than anyone else. But it's a wild animal, it probably has a family to take care of, and it's not domesticated. It could be dangerous. Best to observe from a distance and only help when needed.
