Well, that statement entirely depends on the doggo! Huskies, Rottweilers, and any sort of working dog breed will need good amount of space, or lots of physical activity to manage their energy levels. But, if you got a small dog, or some that are pupticularly lazy, an apartment wouldn't be a problem at all!

It's low-key shady to pull this kind of stunt. What did she think would be the outcome? Maybe she didn't think about it at all (which is a problem in and of itself), but either way, it's worth having the tough conversation if they want to save their friendship in any way.
