‘It’s [be]coming more common to not dock their tails’: Corgi owner fights against stereotypes and keeps their cute canine's tail at birth, prompting others to show off their wonderfully wiggly tail-ful Corgis

We honestly don't understand why tail-docking is still a thing. Sure, if your dog is born with a deformity and it's necessary for their health and continued happiness, by all means, do what is best for the dog. But performing surgery on your dog purely for your own aesthetic purposes? That's a big no-no for us.

Plus, dogs' tails are one of their key communicators. The way their tails are moving is like a guide to how your dog is feeling. Low and slow is unsure, checking. Up and fast means "I'm happy and excited!" Stiff and frozen means uncomfortable! If you take that very clear indicator away, you're slashing that ability for your dog to communicate with you by a lot. Plus, doggo tails are really cute, especially corgi tails.

We know that corgis are known for their floofy behinds, being some of the most bootylicious doggos out there. But, they can still have all of that badonkadonk and have their tail as well. They are not two mutually exclusive things.

It's your dog, do what you want to do with them, but we think you should leave them be. We're going to leave some wonderfully wiggly tail-ful corgis below for some inspawration. Enjoy!

Come on. Look at this little guy. Isn't his tail just pawfect? Plus, now his ratio of length to height is even more silly. There's no reason to take his tiny tail off just because you want to see his behind more clearly.
