When privacy becomes a privilege and not a right, that's when you know things need to change.

Many families purchased property several generations ago when things were cheap and mortgage rates didn't put everyone into debt. These properties are then passed down from generation to generation and are specifically kept in the family for loved ones to benefit from. If you were told that you will be inheriting property that is yours and yours only, you would probably be upset if other extended family members hijack your privacy and freeload off of you and your parents' assets.

Providing a family member with four years of tenancy in your property so they can get on their feet is more than generous. After four years, the niece in this story has started making good money and can afford a better (separate) apartment. The aunt, on the other hand, is struggling financially while she pays her parents' bills and completes most of the household tasks. How do her parents repay her?
