A pre-breakfast scroll binge is not only enticing, it's good for the soul. There are few things we do before breakfast, but scrolling somehow makes the cut. We turn off the alarm, roll out of bed, brush our teeth, pet our precious furry friend, and sometimes make it to our phone to do a good ol' scroll before the difficulties of the day begin. The morning often sets the tone for the whole day. For many, scrolling through humorous or comforting online media serves as a transitional space between sleep and the start of the day. Cat memes, in particular, play an important role in this ecosystem through their ability to transcend anyone and anything. 

Sometimes a good binge is all we need to really feel better, whether it's food, a Netflix show, or a good scroll. With the cold seasons approaching and building up, the winds winding, the skies greying, it's always a comfort go-to to scroll some adorable cat memes.
