A man's 27th birthday celebration with friends went viral when his girlfriend announced his pathetic lie to the entire group, leading to a public humiliation that this relationship may struggle to recover from. To be fair, after she bankrolled their entire trip and he belittled her as 'the tagalong girlfriend,' something had to be said. 

She was certainly not just the idyl guest as he suggested; she planned and paid for everything.
