Entitled parents try to use their 7-year-old kid to cut the line at the amusement park, theme park employee schools them: 'Dad won't try this again!'

This theme park employee deserves an award for calling out an entitled family for cutting the line.

One of the more egregious inconveniences in life is being stuck in a long line and seeing some entitled stranger cut in front of you for no valid reason. It's the kind of act that makes you question not only someone's character but also their audacity. What prompts someone to believe they are superior to others and therefore exempt from the rules?

This family went to Disneyland and saw that the two lines to a popular ride were significantly different in length. The longer line was the regular one, in which groups of attendees were guaranteed not to be split up on the ride. The much shorter line was reserved for single riders only. 

Everyone was aware of the differences between these two lines, so before you consider the possibility that these folks were innocent, they were not. Cast members were loudly ushering guests in the right direction and were constantly reiterating the rules for each line. They could only have gotten it wrong if they were doing this on purpose.

  • By the time the family was in front of the single rider line, they refused to be split up from their 7-year-old kid even though “rules are rules.” Everyone in the line anticipated that this family was up to no good. What's more, they were rightfully annoyed that they were holding up the line because they couldn't bother to follow the guidelines like everyone else. 

    Thankfully, a Disney cast member saw the whole conflict come to a head and decided to step in. No, she didn't give the family the benefit of the doubt. She didn't even let the rules slide just this once. Instead, she held firm and refused to let this family's entitlement get them what they wanted.

  • mind this line was for THE most popular ride, Radiator Racers (or whatever it's called), in Cars Land. Even the single rider line was over 30 mins. Regular line was 100 minutes.

The rest of the family gets piecemealed out and although the mom gets to ride in the same car as her 2 youngest (maybe 3 and 5?) they're in separate rows.
