Many dog lovers have said, or thought to themselves, that one day they will go to their local dog shelter and pick out the saddest, most neglected doggo in the place and give them the life that they truly deserve. It is a wonderful ideal, however in practice very few actually do so, and even amongst those who do there are more than a few who quickly come to realize that due to the condition of the doggo they have not got the resources to give the poor pupper the life that they wanted to bestow upon it.

But for the couple in this story, none of that was true, even the first part about specifically wanting to help the most neglected doggo in the place. They simply saw a situation in which they could help and took a chance, a leap of faith if you will. And boy, oh boy did it pay off.

  • Wowza, that is quite the hefty leap of faith right there. To disregard all the warning signs and to simply follow one’s heart is no easy task and we have to say that we are incredibly impressed with this pupper pawrent’s intuition and their dedication to listening to said intuition. It should not be taken for granted, and we could all stand to learn a good few things from this story.
