Sometimes it feels like celebrities exist in a totally different universe. I mean, we don't really know who they are; we only see them after they've been done up for the red carpet, playing a role in a movie or on stage, or in carefully curated glimpses into their lives by way of social media post or pap walk. We know their on-screen characters, their interviews, and Instagram feeds, but rarely do we think about them as someone's grandkid (unless that grandparent was famous themself).

It shouldn't come as a surprise that when you investigate someone's roots, you ground them in reality; there is suddenly a greater context.
