And other times they look like they've had it rough, flies all over them, and clearly in need of a vet visit. In the story below, the couple in question sees a cat outside who's coming around their place for six years. The cute kitty has a collar on, denoting that he has owners, though he's looking neglected and has a clearly injured leg. The couple are finally able to capture the kitty one day, and they call the owners. The owners verify that the cat is theirs, but give no other indication about how they're treating the poor thing.

The couple decides to take matters into their own hands after the real owners don't care. They bring the kitty to a vet, the cat needs a serious surgery on his leg, and other medicines. They decide to rename and rehome the cat, showing the wholesomeness of life.
