When life gets complicated, you hope that your family takes your side. You hope that when the going gets tough, the ones you love will be there to make it a little less tough. But those dreams do not always come true, unfortunately. Sometimes, the people who are supposed to be there for you will leave you in your darkest hour without another word.

This type of stuff gets especially complicated when money is involved. Money and family famously do not mix, and it's not a good idea to get things too tied together. That tends to happen, though. There is the matter of inheritance, of property ownership, and passing it down from generation to generation. Things can get really twisted up when it comes to this stuff. That's what happened in this story when a young woman was living in her mother's mobile home. She was given barely any notice, even though she had lived there for 16 years. So when she had to pack it up in a matter of days, things got a little bit rushed.

  • Edit for common questions: Yes, I was paying all the bills at the house. My mom gave me power of attorney to sell the house since she lives out of state now. I foster cats which is why I have 6. And it's a title not a deed because it's a mobile home

Forgetting to take a couple of extra photos doesn't make you an asshole it makes you human and exhausted. Your mom should be grateful you took care of everything, not mad about missing pictures.
