It's easy to say that the costume design in Star Trek is timeless. Those iconic primary-color uniform shirts have stood the test of time, only varying slightly between eras, but not all of the fashions from Star Trek have aged well. I would say Jake Sisko was the biggest fashion victim of the '90s. He wore so many bright colors and patterns, extremely dated vests, and mixed patterns that might've seemed futuristic at the time but honestly don't belong in any era. So many of the clothes in Star Trek: The Next Generation looked like pajamas or costumes from an entirely different TV show. And who could forget the questionable fashion moments of Star Trek: The Original Series? The Capellans looked like someone had found a box of rejected minks and safety-pinned them onto the actors. If you don't miss the weird costuming of past Star Trek eras, these memes might be for you.
