A shower is like a temple. You step into it to be cleansed, sure, but not just your body. A good shower cleanses you of all sorts of ailments of the mind and spirit. Have you ever had plans that you really didn't feel like going to? Who hasn't? You agreed that you would go a while back, and now the prospect of leaving your house seems utterly impossible. You hop in the shower, letting the hot water run down your shoulders. You emerge as a new person. You can make it to that housewarming party. Everything feels possible. 

All to say, a shower can be transformative. It can be the difference between impossible and possible. It can also help you come up with some beautiful ideas. Something about the solitude and the warm water leaves your mind free to think some of its most interesting thoughts. That's what we've come to celebrate today. These shower thoughts were born out of some legendary showers, I assume. I don't know, I wasn't there. But either way, we're going to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
