You know, we have seen our fair share of dog rescues here. And one thing that is relatively common amongst all of them is the instant bond that is formed between pupper and rescuer. And in many of these stories, the doggo in question was actually abandoned or a stray all along, and so that beautiful bond is allowed to blossom and be nurtured into a proper pupper-pawrent relationship.

However, in this slightly heartbreaking story, the diligent and conscientious rescuers of this pupper could not in good faith just take the doggo as their own without trying to find the pupper's pawrent first. And in doing so, found a man who had been desperately searching for his sweet friend for days. And while the reunion was heartwarming and Biscuit the doggo made it home, it must have been rather tough for the rescuers who wanted nothing more than to have the opportunity to adopt the doggo themselves.

Well, this sure would be a wholesome way to begin a pupper and pawrent relationship. On the anniversary of their meeting they could sit down for burgers and reminisce about how a pat on the head and a piece of burger is what brought them together in the first place.

Wow, what a wonderfully responsible hooman. It takes a certain kind of responsibility in a person to give up on their dream of having their own dog child, especially after their sweet meeting. To then go and make sure that this poor pupper was not being held back from his actual family.
