They say to never judge a book by its cover, but this woman jumped straight to conclusions when she saw a hulking figure playing with a young boy at the park. A man babysitting his best friend's young son was accused of kidnapping at a park after a bystander misjudged the situation, leading to police involvement and the Karen's arrest once the truth came out.
With handcuffs on and everything, perhaps this woman will learn better ways to protect the local children, ways that don't start and end with them grabbing their arms and dragging them away from their guardians.
We've all made bad judgments in the past. Perhaps you accidentally called a pregnant woman "fat" or you pet someone's reactive dog without asking first, but presumably, you never counter-kidnapped someone's child because you thought there was no way that adult could be that child's guardian. Well, this embarrassing mistake brought to like the age-old saying about making assumptions. Lucky for her, the authorities seemed sympathetic to her cause until they saw the bruise she left on a 9-year-old's arm. Now that's one bad judgment that'll follow her around for the rest of her days, on her arrest sheet.
