The video-sharing application that we know as TikTok has now been around for long enough to leave its mark on anyone who spends a lot of time online. It doesn't matter if they're constantly scrolling through their For You page or can't imagine a worse way to waste their time; it is highly likely that it has touched their internet experience at some point. It is a simple fact that many of the cultural trends that first rose to fame on the clock app have long since escaped the platform and become part of how a large portion of people experience and engage with the world.

We could argue that the most prominent TikTok creators have simply found a convenient outlet for sharing moments of their lives, which is something they probably would have done even without this platform. Still, since they are allowed this space for self-expression, we might as well enjoy the weird and amusing moments they produce along the way.
