There is a difference between talking about someone else's drama behind their back when they confided to you in confidence about it and talking about the drama of another person who is exclaiming it to anyone who will listen like an old timey news boy screaming "extra extra, read all about it!" The first one is viscous gossip, the second one is pipping tea needed to be shared. And that is exactly what Lily Allen has created with her new album West End Girl.

If you haven't listened to it yet, I highly recommended it to any girls girl who loves to be in the know. Turns out that Allen's husband was not so faithful, in fact, he was so blatantly cheating on her he made her feel like it was hear fault. Luckily, baddie Lily Allen wasn't standing for it. So she divorced him and then recently released a scalding hot tea album that completely rips her ex-husband apart. And we're not just talking about your classic heartbreak break-up album, we're talking specific moments. This album reads texts from the mistress word-for-word and the nefarious evidence Allen would find like a receipt for an expensive hand bag and an expensive… uh, rear end accessory…

Anyway, anyone with a tight group of friends has been here. Maybe not this level of infidelity, but the kind of bonding that only happens when you are airing out your tea with the people you love the most. And then them hyping you up enough to let the world know! Bravo.
