  • A young woman in a tiara talks on the phone, upset.
  • Entitled bride tried to fine me for skipping her spray tan, acted stunned when I walked.

The bridesmaid chat blew up at 6:12 a.m. with a Google Sheet and "uniform vibes." Dress 280, shoes 120, makeup trial 95. Then a mandatory spray tan, 7:00 a.m. Thursday at Golden Glow on Main, 85 after tip. I have eczema, steroid cream on my nightstand, derm said hard no. I told her. She said I "lack commitment" and at 7:03 hit me with
  • a Zelle request labeled no show fee plus a 15 late fee bc I didn't answer fast enough. My phone did that angry wasp buzz and I swear I could smell the fake coconut through the screen. I dropped the dress on her porch, tag still on, slid the shoes back in the bag with the receipt, muted WhatsApp so
  • it'd stop rattling on the counter. She jumped to Instagram about "women supporting women" and how I owe her for ruining her vision. Then the fiancé's sister DMs me like, please reconsider, they'll keep her off the chat, just pay your share like everyone else. Two other bridesmaids refused the tan and got the same fee so the chat turned into a bonfire. I passed. Not paying to get hives. IDK, maybe that makes me the problem, but I'm good outside her spreadsheet.
  • An upset young woman talks on the phone.
  • Commenters wondered what kind of friend would do that.

Simple_Mix_4995 • 20m ago Sounds putrid. Some friendships make better fire logs.
  • WomanInQuestion • 18m ago And you being all blotchy and covered in angry looking hives would've been awesome for her special day. She sounds like a massively entitled person who is looking for an excuse to yell at someone.
  • Apprehensive Plum... 18m ago You got a spreadsheet at 6:12 saying you needed to be at the tanning place at 7? Sorry if I've misunderstood but this is clearly bollocks
  • Wonderful_Pause_2... • 18m ago Don't pay and dump her. Return what you can.
  • Which_Specific9891 · 18m ago . She's not a friend. You cannot put your own health in jeopardy for such an absurd 'vision.' She cares more about her instagram photos of a wedding than she does your health. This is not someone who deserves your time.
  • No_Stage_6158 . 6m ago Who the hell does she think she is trying to fine people? Everyone needs to bounce out of that wedding.
  • RiotBlack43 5m ago • This bride sounds like a psychopath. Time to get better friends.
  • Bluestatevibes . 17m ago You really aren't the problem. Anyone who cares more about "their vision" than the fact that your doctor said absolutely not to do a spray tan is only thinking of themselves.
  • KoalaMcFlurry • 17m ago I hope you van get the money back you paid for shoes and dress. You did the smart thing. Not worth thr hassle.
  • Mediocre-Victory-565 . 15m ago You did the right thing. Not only should no one dictate what you do with your own body, you have a medical condition. No one's wedding is worth possibly injuring yourself. Honestly she sounds like a bridezilla so you've probably saved not only your money but your sanity too!
  • noneyanoseybidness • 9m ago This smells like a money grab. Bridezilla probably made a deal with the tanning salon to get a free spray tan if she brought in a certain number of victims. She wanted her free spray tan no matter what it cost everyone else. smh
  • Melvinator5001 • 15m ago Our get crazy get the tan get hives go to emergency room and drop the bill off at the brides and demand payment with a guy named Luther.
  • KO-Brian 11m ago • How the hell does such an abysmal person manage to have a wedding party let alone. enough people for an actual wedding >?
  • . MotherOfCatDogs • 8m ago Really, when did weddings turn into these overblown expensive selfish "productions"???
  • Kayman718 • 7m ago Fine you? The spray tan would have made you itch because of the bitch.
  • NYC-WhWmn-ov50 . 5m ago No way. I dont hace skin problems and I'm not getting a spray tan for someone's wedding! Not even if they paid for it which I'm guessing this Zilla wasnt going to. Cost of the dress isnt actually too bad considering some I've heard, but its still too much to expect tour BMs to bow to your every desire no mattet the physical, mental or financial toll. You can ask, you cannot command.
