‘We can't imagine our house now without her... do something that can change the lives of these poor animals who have been mistreated’: Sick senior canine dumped in dog park saved by kind rescuer and given a clean bill of health, a furever home and family

The reasons that people abandon their dog children are seriously scary sometimes. For while, you might have thought that most of the time people leave their dog behind perhaps due to behavioral issues, moving to a new home, or even at worst simply not loving them anymore, the truth can be far tougher to swallow.

For example the doggo we have featured today, who was, in all likelihood, abandoned because she became very sick and her pawrents for whatever reason, be it cost or care, decided that their dog child deserved to be thrust out into the world. Either into the arms of someone who cares enough to help, or to meet her maker. Luckily, some very kind and caring canine pawrents stepped in before it was too late, and our once abandoned doggo suddenly got a whole new leash on life. Let this story serve as a reminder that adopting a doggo means in sickness and in health, and in poverty and in wealth.

  • Well, this is certainly a peculiar incident. It is not often that a dog who looks like they have a home is found to be without a microchip, and at that carrying a severe medical issue with them. One can only wonder what cruel hooman would abandon their canine child in the most critical time of need.

  • Goodness, it is just so heartbreaking to hear about a darling doggo who wants nothing more than some love and attention in life having to go through such terrible circumstances. At least the right hoomans were sent by the Doggo Distribution System to pick up the pupper and give her a deserving home.
