‘I just honored [my grandma]:’ 34-year-old guy teams up with dad and lawyer and shuts down entitled aunt after she attempts to rewrite his beloved grandmother's will

When it comes to dealing with a family will, inheritance can get messy. This is where you start to see some family member's true colors. In the case of this family, is was the aunt whose entitlement started to ooze once the grandmother passed. You see, this grandmother was very close with her grandson, and she promised him her vintage vanity with mirror and all to him when she passed. She clearly wrote that in her will. And yet, the aunt decided that she deserved it "more" because she was more of a caretaker to her than her was. Except, was she? She just happened to spend more time there because she lived nearby and had nothing else to do. The grandson was there as much as he could, even though he had a full-time job and lived far away. But he was always the one taking care of the yard work, carpentry, and anything else that needed repairs. 

 

Still, this aunt threw a hissy fit. She demanded that the vanity was her's and it didn't matter what the will said because she got "caretaker" rights. Sorry, bestie, that is not how it works. The grandmother very specifically left the vanity to her grandson, she made this choice, and the fact of the matter is, she never liked you anyway… Probably something to do with your entitlement.
